State-of-the-art technology  ICAT CT Scan

Dr. Brown is one of the select few dental implant centers in the world to use 3D CAT Scans for diagnosis and treatment planning. 3D CAT Scans allow a detailed look at existing teeth, bone, nerves, and tissue.

The 3D CAT Scan provides three-dimensional and cross-sectional views that allows Dr. Brown to:

• Examine the quality and density of the bone that will anchor the dental implant,
• Determine the proper treatment approach for each individual patient,
• Determine the precise placement of implants,
• Select the correct type and size of the implants.

ICAT CT Scan

The CT Scan digital radiograph is then placed in hi tech software called Sim Plant from Materialise.

Dr. Brown using his tech software called Sim Plant from Materialise, uses the radiograph and the Sim Plant software to pre plan the placement of the implants. By doing the implant placement with the software we can have Materialise develop a exact guide for the placement of the implants. We have removed the guess work of implant placement using the CT Scan radiograph and the Sim Plant implant placement software.
